| Talents: Model | | Lauren Thompson has been actively modeling for the past 5 years. Lauren is from Orlando, Florida and is a junior at the University of Central Florida, studying Marketing and Mass Communications. Like many little girls, while growing up Lauren went through many "awkward stages", but always flipped through the pages of her favorite magazines dreaming being a model. By high school, she had pretty much given up on it, until approached at a nightclub. Thinking it was a scam, she ignored it. As fate would have it, she ran into the same agent 2 weeks later, and was invited to take a tour of the agency. Hesitant, she tested the water by shooting with a well-known photographer in the Orlando area, printed out the pics, and went on her first casting call. BOOOM! Landed the primary role of the Sevendust "Praise video". Overnight, Lauren went form girl-next-door, cheerleader at school, to a wild schedule of modeling, classes, and trying to remain close with friends! EVERYTHING worked out! Lauren have now worked for various companies such as Bealls and Burdines Catalogs, The Orlando Sentinel, 2 Ron Jon Surf Shop Commercials, 2 music videos (Sevendust and Creed), Capristan Swimwear, Runway shows for Steve Madden, Capristan Swimwear, and Charity for Women lingerie. She has worked NUMEROUS trade shows for Microsoft, True Fitness, Sun Labs Self tanner, Joker and Easy wider paper, etc etc etc, and car shows for Nissan 3 years in a row. |
